Warehouse Order Selector - Days

About the role

The selector pulls case orders on an electric pallet jack, organizes the product by assignment, and loads on a designated route in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Selects orders assigned by operations clerk and loads onto the proper route.
• Performs other job functions as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1 year related experience preferred; electric pallet jack experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long periods of time in a cooler environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting of products up to 50 lb during the shift; infrequent lifting up to 80 lb.
• Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.

Work Environment

Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Decision-Making Authority

Most important decisions are made fully independently, such as selecting the appropriate items from the correct slot. Decisions that the selector is unsure of require review and approval by supervisors or other individuals.
