About the role
Warehouse Order Selectors work in Sysco warehouses and play a crucial part in the foodservice supply chain. They are responsible for picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift to pick, pack, and move products.
- Palletizing and organizing products to build customer orders.
- Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes.
- Analyzing and projecting transportation costs.
- Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles.
- Evaluating, selecting, and managing relationships with external transport providers.
- Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Frequent lifting of product weighing between 10 lbs and 100 lbs.
- Frequent reaching up to 72 inches.
- Constant bending and twisting while operating equipment.
- Working in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
- Standing for 10-12 hours daily.
Qualifications
- 0-1 year relevant work experience.
- 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
- 1 year selection experience.
- 2 years consistent work history preferred.
Skills
No college degree or previous warehouse experience required.

Pay
Base pay is $25.74/hour. Potential every week to earn over $43/hour with productivity and accuracy incentives.
Schedule
4 day work week.
