Warehouse Order Selector

About the role

This is a night shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
• Operate an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift.
• Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
• Develop transport schedules, methods, and routes.
• Analyze and project transportation costs.
• Cook offload and pack orders.
• Maintain, load, pack, and drive vehicles.
• Evaluate, select, and manage ongoing relationships with external transport providers.
• Acquire and manage fleet vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequent lifting of product weighing 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequent reaching up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bending and twisting while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
