Job Title: Warehouse Order Selector Job ID:1ACIJP00004163|BP-50511 Location: Bellevue, WA Pay Rate:$28.56/ hr Shift: Mon-Fri (09:30 AM to 06:00 PM) Job Summary Order Selectors support distribution center operations at the Bellevue Milk Plant, selecting and palletizing dairy and refrigerated products using voice-directed technology and a ride-on electric pallet jack in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shift: 1st Shift, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch), Tuesday-Saturday. Initial 60-day assignment with potential conversion to full-time based on attendance, performance, safety adherence, and business needs. Employees converted to full-time must join the onsite union. Roles & Responsibilities Use voice-directed order selection system to accurately select full-case dairy, refrigerated, and perishable productsOperate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and transport products throughout the warehouseWear voice-picking headset for the duration of the shiftBuild stable pallets and prepare orders for shipment to local storesEnsure orders are selected accurately and efficiently while maintaining productivity standardsLearn and use voice-directed warehouse technologySafely operate electric pallet jacks and other equipment after training/certification Experience Minimum 1 year of recent order selecting experience requiredPrevious experience operating an electric pallet jack required Key Skills Voice-directed picking technologyElectric pallet jack operationOrder selection and pallet buildingEffective communication (following safety procedures, verbal/written instructions, coordinating with supervisors/coworkers/truck drivers)Reliability, punctuality, and independent productivity Eligibility & Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the United States for an indefinite duration without limitationsAbility to obtain Albertsons/Safeway certification to operate electric pallet jacks and material-handling equipmentAbility to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to lift, carry, push, pull, stack, and move products up to 50 lbs throughout the shift, including to shoulder height and overheadAbility to stand and walk continuously for extended periods; bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motionsAbility to safely mount, dismount, and operate material-handling equipmentAbility to work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 34°F-37°F) for the entire shiftWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededSafety shoes required on Day 1 (close-toed, slip-resistant shoes do not qualify)Comfortable working in a unionized environment with teamwork and professionalism
