Warehouse Order Selector

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately select products from designated locations using order sheets or electronic devices (in the freezer, cooler as well as out of freezer and cooler)
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or conveyance
• Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards
• Operate warehouse equipment such as Electric and Non Electric forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area: Clean boxes, sweep, break boxes as needed
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order discrepancies or issues
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good physical condition; ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Basic math and reading skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work till picking is completed

Work Environment

• This job operates in a warehouse setting and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving machinery
• The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
