Warehouse Order Selector
Position Overview
Seeking a Selector Trainee responsible for individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and perishable products using equipment such as pallet jacks. Tasks include accurately picking items via sheets or technology, stacking on pallets, wrapping, and transporting to shipping docks, with some loading for delivery. Safety is a top priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and safety compliance
- Use pick sheets or technology to select products
- Operate pallet jacks and equipment to move and bundle products
- Label pallets and ensure proper wrapping to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and perform equipment inspections
- Complete assigned job duties, including occasional physical tasks
Work Environment & Skills
Work in warehouse settings with temperature ranges from 28F to 90F. Valued skills include operating MHE, adherence to safety policies, and reliability. Physical abilities include lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, walking, and using both hands and feet continuously.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Pay & Schedule
Compensation starts at $25.88/hour, working 2nd shift. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
