About the role

Staples is a business‑to‑business company seeking team members to join its World Class Supply Chain Team and deliver essential products to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Order Picker: Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals, including picking above ground level while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Restocker: Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prepare the work area for the next shift while following safety procedures.
  • Bulk Selector: Select product, pull and pack totes, cut cases of merchandise, and stock product. Move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Custodian: Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility, including sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming, spot‑removing carpet, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows and brass, and removing trash, all while following safety procedures.

As an SC1 associate you may be moved among any of the above roles as needed. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to ensure safe work practices and embrace the safety culture.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to work the assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
  • If hired as a Full‑Time associate, ability to work additional overtime hours based on business need.
  • Physical ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to 70‑100 pounds by hand.
  • Must wear safety composite shoes.
  • Ability to walk and stand 100 % of the time.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior warehouse or related experience (e.g., fast‑food, stockroom, racking systems, customer service, package handling, etc.).
  • Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
  • Inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to build strong relationships and resolve issues.
  • Quick adoption of safety procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
