Warehouse Order Picker Full Time 2nd Shift Annex

Schedule: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Pay-for-performance program allows associates to earn additional compensation by meeting productivity thresholds.

About the role

As a warehouse associate on the Staples World Class Supply Chain Team, you may work in any of the following areas:

• Order Picker: Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals. Work may include picking above ground level while adhering to safety procedures.
• Restocker: Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep the work area for the next shift while adhering to safety procedures.
• Bulk Selector: Select product, pull and pack totes, cut cases of merchandise, stock product, and move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt while adhering to safety procedures.
• Custodian: Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility, including sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and removing trash while adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work the assigned schedule and be accountable for tasks.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to 70 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If hired as a Full-Time associate, ability to work additional overtime hours as required by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including but not limited to: fast-food (utilizing headset is a plus), stockroom, working with racking systems, customer service, or package handling.
