Warehouse - Order Picker
About the role
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate in Coppell, TX (SAF) - Warehouse. The position involves efficient material handling, shipment integrity, safety & workspace care, and equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Supports the team’s quality and efficiency goals by loading, unloading, and palletizing safety products with care.
- Ensures the quality and care of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders to provide excellent service.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to support a safe environment for everyone and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Operates powered industrial trucks as needed to assist in daily warehouse flow.
- Willingly supports the team with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- 1+ year warehousing or similar experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours
- Read and comprehend customers' orders, bills of lading, etc.
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems
