About the Role

This is a full-time, 2nd shift Warehouse Operator Specialist-Line Lead position located in West Branch, USA. The role involves leading warehouse operations, including picking, quality control, safety compliance, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

  • Picking Responsibilities:
    • Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders and fulfill client demands.
    • Efficiently and accurately pick, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products according to client requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Stage products in designated areas.
  • Quality Control Responsibilities:
    • Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
    • Verify products and orders meet quality standards, reporting any damages or discrepancies.
    • Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as required by SOPs.
  • Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
    • Execute all safety protocols and perform job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, including work areas and warehouse security.
    • Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
  • Equipment Operation:
    • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
    • Maintain equipment and report any issues.
    • Follow prescribed work methods for equipment use.
  • Maintenance:
    • Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
  • Other Duties:
    • Work overtime as required by business needs, whether mandatory or voluntary.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse, ranging from mild to moderate during warmer and colder months.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate level for verifying product quantities, counting inventory, and other related tasks.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally: Handling/fingering, sitting.
  • Frequently: Bending.
  • Constantly: Walking and standing.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 21-50 pounds.
  • Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $19.50 – $22.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.

Schedule

This is a 2nd shift role with 8-hour shifts.
