Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform material receiving, storing, and shipping of goods in the warehouse (dangerous & non-dangerous goods)
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accuracy of stock counts
- Support the Supervisor with warehouse training, shipment scheduling, and problem solving
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Work with planners, vendors, and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of products and materials
- Handle manufacturing inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Operate a computer to execute all warehouse tasks by means of SAP and office software to manage inventory for inbound and outbound shipments
- Provide administrative support to the warehouse and fulfillment team, including data entry, filing, and answering phones
- Absorb and process orders, ensuring accuracy and timely material fulfillment to the manufacturing team
- Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
- Participate in the development and implementation of warehouse procedures and policies
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, provide regular updates to leadership
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, with strong demonstration of teamwork and leadership skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software (SAP experience is a bonus)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to drive a car, truck, and powered industrial machinery like a forklift
- Physical fitness for performing the warehouse activities like standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting heavy objects up to 49LBS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, prioritize work and make sound decisions
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations such as HAZMAT material handling and storage with certification, or ability to become certified in one or more of these areas, as necessary
