This position is covered by a union contract, which requires the selected applicant to join the union and pay dues. The Bozeman Plant operates several different types of bottling equipment, as well as associated boxing, casing, and palletizing equipment. This is an entry-level position with cross-training across several different jobs to offer flexibility and a greater understanding of the overall operation.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across several different jobs to offer flexibility and a greater understanding of the overall operation
• Perform cleaning duties involving water and chemicals
• Operate motorized pallet jacks as needed
• Operate the Box Former as needed
• Pull packaging for production
• Remain on feet for duration of shift with mobility to walk around, bend, and twist to perform tasks
• Lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Report any food safety or quality issues

Requirements

• Previous experience with pallet jacks and/or forklifts
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Proven work history demonstrating safe, efficient, and dependable performance
• Previous production experience in a food manufacturing plant
• High school education or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work night or day shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Most employees currently work four 10-hour shifts; weekend and night work schedules are possible and very likely
