About the role

Kerry is seeking a Warehouse / Forklift Operator to join our team at the Byesville, OH, USA plant. This role supports the increasing demand for high-quality ingredients and operates within a dynamic and enjoyable work setting.

Responsibilities

  • safely moves finished goods and materials throughout the facility
  • loads/unloads trucks, puts away product in racks or tier stacks on the production floor
  • supports shipping and receiving (including 3PL)
  • maintains a clean, safe work environment
  • enters and tracks SKU, lot code, and expiration dates in forms and RF system
  • verifies materials and codes to meet specifications; documents results
  • stages and delivers materials to production; wraps and stages finished goods in assigned locations
  • assists with warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and material handling
  • uses the inventory system to capture all movements and maintain inventory accuracy
  • performs cycle counts per program requirements
  • performs other duties as assigned while maintaining safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
  • one year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal
  • six months of prior lift truck, electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred
  • prior inventory control, RF Scanner, cycle counting, and SAP experience ideal
  • ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime
  • ability to work well with a team or other coworkers
  • mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
  • ability to complete certification requirements
  • use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with eighteen (18) years of age or older. One year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience is ideal, as is six months of prior lift truck, electric pallet jack operation and safety certification. Prior inventory control, RF Scanner, cycle counting, and SAP experience is preferred. Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime is necessary, as is the ability to work well with a team or other coworkers. Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems are also required, as is the ability to complete certification requirements.
