Warehouse Operations Technician II

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Operations Tech in Morris, Illinois. Pay is $22.82 per hour, with weekly paychecks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience (equipment certification may be required, depending on location)

Responsibilities

• Support facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet or exceed goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers to set appointments and update load statuses
• Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to distribute workload evenly using WMS
• Collaborate with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve order issues
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
