Warehouse Operations Supervisor, 3rd Shift (Levittown, PA)

About the role

Your schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 10:30PM to 8:00AM EST. (This schedule may change to Tuesday through Saturday based off of client needs, so you will need to be flexible.) The annual base salary range for this role is $60,000. This role also has a 6% field bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the team to meet the company's productivity standards and requirements.
• Manages the production workers on designated shift.
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems.
• Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Oversees quality function throughout the production area.
• Affirms TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are always followed.
• Assists Warehouse Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations.
• Affirms clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts.
• Offers suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries).
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet, and email.
• Based on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice.
