Warehouse Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift

U.S. AutoForce is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead a warehouse team and ensure department goals are met.

Schedule

• Sunday 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Monday – Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays
• Overtime may be required based on business needs

Pay

Starting wage: $28/hour

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership through goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication
• Deliver measurable feedback, performance suggestions, and recognition
• Conduct interviews, hiring, and training as needed
• Support safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Maintain a safe working environment for all associates
• Assist with process improvement initiatives
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate policies and procedures
• Enforce productivity standards
• Ensure excellent customer service and communication
• Receiving:
  • Check in product completely and accurately
  • Stock products correctly
• Loading:
  • Pick product for daily and special deliveries
  • Load trucks using good judgment regarding space and product safety
• Returns:
  • Inspect and physically count returned merchandise
  • Restock inventory in the appropriate location
  • Handle outbound freight of vendor returns
  • Complete paperwork for all warranty product
  • Unload customer and inventory transfers from corporate warehouses
• Operate power equipment, including forklifts
• Serve as a backup driver when assigned or directed

Requirements

• 3 years of related experience
• Experience supervising assistant receivers and helpers
• Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
• Strong memory and scanning abilities
• Good communication and math skills
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with proper equipment
• Able to climb 20 feet on a regular basis
• Ability to learn to use a forklift
• May require a valid driver’s license and compliance with company driver policy
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test (THC/marijuana not tested)
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs.
• Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than 70 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots (employee-provided), safety vest, harness, seatbelt, self-retracting lifeline (provided by U.S. AutoForce)
• Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants
