Position : Warehouse Operations Operator Location : Covington, GA Duration : 12 Months 1st Shift Total Hours/week : 40.00 1st Shift Client : Medical Devices Company Job Category : Industrial Employment Type : Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPT Job Summary Warehouse Operator role using a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. This role develops skills in basic tasks within one skill area/process, applying basic knowledge to complete routine tasks within prescribed steps and clearly defined SOPs, under general to limited supervision. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM. Drug testing required. Forklift questionnaire must be attached when submitting resume. Roles & Responsibilities Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goodsMaintain records as neededComplete routine tasks within prescribed steps and clearly defined SOPs/scientific methodsAdhere to quality guidelines Experience 1+ year of warehouse experience or related experience/trainingBasic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)Receiving experience - a plusObtains/maintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications as needed Key Skills Forklift operationEffective communication skillsBasic math calculationsGeneral computer skillsAbility to perform in a metrics-driven environment Eligibility & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent - preferred, not requiredAbility to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in EnglishAbility to lift/move over 50 lbsAbility to work in physically demanding conditions: walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and repetitive hand/wrist motionExposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme weather (hot summers, cold winters, no AC/limited heating), vibration, and occasionally high/precarious places or fumes/airborne particlesModerate to loud noise environmentMust pass drug testing (DT required)
