Warehouse Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals
• Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products
• Directs work assignments to employees
• Provides daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities
• Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
• Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor
• Communicates professionally, both orally and written, to internal and external partners
• Communicates problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas
• Safeguards efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
• Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and WIs
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assisting in staging orders for delivery
• Affirms product is stored safely and in the proper place
• Aids in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Assists in any additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Experience with Warehouse Management System
• Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments
• Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills
• MHE experience or desire to learn MHE
• Attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills

Pay

The base hourly rate for this position is $21.75. Additional pay may be available based on shift work.
