Warehouse Officer
This role is based at our Kings Engineering workshop in Rutherford.
About the role
This role is responsible for the coordination of activities related to the receipt and distribution of materials in the stores and providing efficient support and service to the operations team at Kings Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate receipt and distribution of materials in the stores
- Provide efficient support and service to the operations team
- Effectively coordinate with suppliers and logistic partners to ensure timely transport, receipt, and delivery of goods
- Operate forklifts to unload and load shipments
- Work autonomously and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse management and inventory control
- Strong communication skills
- Skilled forklift operator
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Previous experience working within an industrial environment (highly advantageous)
- Knowledge of industry, equipment, and parts (highly advantageous)
- Qualification in warehouse management (desirable)
