About the role
The Warehouse (Nights) associate supports the shipping and receiving of product in the warehouse. Duties may vary based on management.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand work orders and verbal instructions.
- Interact with internal operating systems “Infor M3” and “Factory Track”.
- Product receiving, product put-away, product movement, order printing and processing.
- Select merchandise for shipment and stack on load pallets.
- Move items between receiving and warehouse locations.
- Stage pallets for loading at proper dock locations.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Stretch-wrap product for safe transportation.
- Mark all packages with proper identifying information.
- Meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
- Perform general cleaning/maintenance duties.
- Daily inspections of warehouse equipment.
- Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe working conditions.
- May interact with customers.
- Follow safety policies and protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year warehouse experience (2+ years preferred).
- Ability to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.
- Able to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills.
- Able to work alone and with a team.
- Pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull/leverage up to 75 lbs.
- Regularly required to walk and stand continuously for long periods of time.
- Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Mental demands include regular use of written and oral communication skills, interaction with managers and staff, and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
