Warehouse Mgmt. System (WMS) Manager

About the role

An Operations System Manager (WMS Manager) is responsible for overseeing the systems in operations and maintaining the WMS, TMS, PKGS system. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that the system is properly configured, maintained, and optimized to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• System Configuration – setting up parameters, defining workflows, and creating rules for inventory management.
• System Maintenance – ensuring the system is properly maintained and updated, identifying and resolving system issues, coordinating upgrades, and verifying expected functionality.
• User Training – creating training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support to users.
• Data Analysis – analyzing system data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
• System Integration – integrating with other systems such as ERP, TMS, PKGS, or order management systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Technical Support – providing support for the DHL site team and customers, and developing and executing test and project plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of transportation or logistics experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with best practices for inventory management and logistics.
• Detail‑oriented and organized.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay

The Operations System Manager (WMS Manager) role has a national salary range of $85,000‑ $150,000.
