Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving

Position Summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in tire, undercar parts, and lubricant distribution. The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday from 5:00am - 3:30pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
• Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
• Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
• Work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment safely
• Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures
• Assist other departments such as e-commerce, inventory, and will call as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
• One year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
• Able to abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
• Must successfully pass forklift certification
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Able to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Able to work in a team environment
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
