Warehouse Material Handler Part Time 3rd Shift

2:00am–7:00am, Monday–Friday

About the role

As a Warehouse Delivery Material Handler, you’ll manually load trucks with products to be delivered to our customers. You’ll lift, lower, and carry product in a fast-paced environment, stack empty pallets, and maintain a safe and clean workspace. Safety is our utmost priority, so you’ll ensure safe work practices and embrace our safety culture. You’ll be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain as we deliver to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with products for customer delivery
• Lift, lower, and carry merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Stack empty pallets and maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Operate material handling equipment safely (MHEO certification required)
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure safe work practices
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and foster strong relationships

Requirements

• 3+ months of related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training/education
• Ability to pass a drug screen (to the extent permissible by law)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment/merchandise up to 100 pounds
• Must wear safety composite shoes
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations
• For Full-Time associates: ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift, including overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
