About the role

As a Warehouse Delivery Material Handler, you’ll manually load trucks with products to be delivered to our customers. You’ll lift, lower, and carry product in a fast-paced environment while stacking empty pallets and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Safety is our utmost priority; you’ll ensure safe work practices and embrace our safety culture. You’ll be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain as we deliver to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Load trucks with products for customer delivery
  • Lift, lower, and carry merchandise
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Stack empty pallets
  • Follow and promote safe work practices
  • Operate material handling equipment as required (MHEO certification)

Requirements

  • 3+ months of related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Must wear safety composite shoes
  • Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written communications)
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
