Warehouse Material Handler Lead - 1st Shift

Job Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
  • Work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintain safety standards
  • Contribute to the company's safety culture by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures
  • Train new hires and support Operation Leaders in guiding team members through assigned tasks
  • Manage inventory by conducting cycle counts, handling adjustments, returns, shortages, etc.
  • Assist with e-commerce and will call operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
  • One year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
  • Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
  • Able to abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
  • Must successfully pass forklift certification
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Able to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
