About the role
Ryder is hiring a Temporary to Permanent Material Handler in Burnsville, Minnesota. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hourOvertime Pay: $30.00 hourly when working overtimeSchedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
- Navigate and correct potential process errors before they impact customers
- Identify and address damaged products during warehousing processes
- Pick and stage orders accurately according to carrier locations and verify quantities
- Create and maintain accurate receiving, storage, and shipping documentation
- Follow safety and security policies and procedures
- Train others in warehouse functions, including operating powered industrial lift equipment
- Perform housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned
- Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to input data into computer systems
- Ability to work overtime as assigned

Pay
Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
