Warehouse Material Handler Hiring Immediately

About the role

Ryder is seeking permanent full-time Warehouse Material Handlers in College Park, GA. This position involves handling spirits and operating various types of forklifts in a safe and state-of-the-art warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging products, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional relationships within all organizational levels
• High degree of initiative and accuracy
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Flexible scheduling ability
• Detail-oriented and excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
