Warehouse Material Handler Full Time 3rd Shift

About the role

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for loading trucks with products to be delivered to customers. This involves manual lifting, lowering, and carrying of product in a fast-paced environment, as well as stacking empty pallets and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with products to be delivered to customers
• Perform manual lifting, lowering, and carrying of product
• Stack empty pallets and maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and contribute to a positive safety culture

Requirements

• Ability to be MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment as required
• An ability and willingness to keep work area clean
• An inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to foster strong relationships and collaboration
• An ability to adopt and follow safety procedures quickly
• An ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications

• 3+ months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours may be required based on business need
• Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
• Must wear safety composite shoes
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
• Must be at least 18 years old
