What We Are Looking For We’re now hiring a Day Shift Back Up Yard Driver position to be responsible for maintaining a physical inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished product. Will also support production by bringing packaging to the necessary lines.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and movements of products.
• Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving.
• Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Drive the shuttle truck to deliver and pickup product and supplies as necessary.
• Perform daily yard truck inspections and maintain overall yard truck cleanliness.
• Shuttling and moving storage trailers in a timely fashion.
• Keep storage trailer lot organized.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies as discovered.
• Forklift, shuttle truck operation and being certified and licensed to drive such vehicles.
• Operate the shrink wrapper, box crusher, etc. as necessary.
• Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory as necessary.
• Backup or substitute material handler positions when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Place raw materials, packaging and finished goods on hold and release as necessary.
• Report any safety issues, unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have current CDL License and updated Health Card
• Self-motivation
• General math skills
• Learning and memorizing a sequence of procedures
• Willing to work well with others
• Good judgement and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to drive forklift and pass certification exam
• Average computer skills.

All hires are contingent on a clean background check and a successful drug test (UA), this means that a job offer is not final until both the background check and drug test results are satisfactory to the employer.

Pay

• Total hourly compensation: $22.03/hr
• Base Pay: $19.13/hr
• Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
• CDL Differential: $1.68/hr
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)

Schedule

Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)
