Warehouse Material Handler

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships with more than 100 years of experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or until work is completed, with rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as forklifts or picker equipment
- Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; team lift or use mechanical equipment for commercial tires
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment
- Work on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed
- Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures
- Assist other departments (ecomm, inventory, will call) as needed based on business requirements
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical demands: Visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds; occasional pushing force up to 40 pounds; handling commercial tires via team lifts or mechanical equipment.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment provided except steel/composite toe boots.
Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions; moderate noise level; fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (THC/marijuana not tested)
