About the role

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse using industrial vehicles such as forklifts or picker equipment
  • Use scanners to locate, put away, and assist with inventory control
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds; team-lift or use mechanical equipment for commercial tires
  • Exert up to 40 pounds of pushing force when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
  • Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment
  • Maintain constant mobility; willing to work on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed
  • Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures; contribute to a culture of safety
  • Assist other departments (ecomm, inventory, will call) as business needs require

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: Must be qualified as to visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently lift products up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds; occasionally exert up to 40 pounds of pushing force; handle commercial tires via team lifts or mechanical equipment.

Required protective equipment: steel or composite toe boots (employee-provided), safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, self-retracting lifeline. All other equipment is provided.

Work environment: May be exposed to weather conditions; noise level is usually moderate; fumes from tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants are prevalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age to operate equipment
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of pushing force
  • Ability to work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment
  • Ability to pass forklift certification
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures; work effectively in a team environment
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (THC/marijuana not tested)
