Warehouse Material Handler

About the role

Ryder is seeking a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler to support their facility in Locust Grove, Georgia. The position involves handling various products including hair care, health/beauty/cosmetics, apparel, and shoes, using state-of-the-art equipment like RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to work within a diverse work environment.
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• An understanding of health and safety methods.

Qualifications

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $18.50 per hour.
