Warehouse Material Handler

About the role

Ryder is seeking permanent full-time Material Handlers in Port Deposit, Maryland. Warehouse positions are available with a weekly hourly pay rate of $21.50, plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging products, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handling daily paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional relationship-building skills within all organizational levels
• High degree of initiative and accuracy
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Flexible scheduling ability to work various shifts

Qualifications

Pay
