Warehouse Material Handler

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Tracy, California. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• The ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• The ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to work using health and safety methods.
• The ability to work within a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• The ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 an hour. Employees may also be eligible for Shift Premium.

Schedule

Schedules available: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, 5 days per week (multiple schedules).
