Warehouse Material Handler

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path you can feel good about. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly. Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour. Overtime Pay: $28.50 per hour. Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Thursday from 5:30am - 4:00pm. Possible OT on Fridays during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Qualifications
