What You’ll Do
- Keep materials moving using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organized storage areas
- Stage materials for production to keep workflows smooth
- Support machine operators and the production team
- Monitor and restock packaging supplies to eliminate downtime
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Follow safety protocols to keep everyone safe
- Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency
- Ensure quality and care in all materials handled
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in material handling (manufacturing/packaging = big plus!)
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer abilities for inventory and data entry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and focus
- Flexibility for overtime when needed
The Work Environment Requires
- Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy conditions
- Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly
- Frequent stair/ladder use and continuous standing
- Work safely at heights over 20'
- To enter confined spaces following safety procedures
- Use and hear 2-way radios
- Maneuver equipment in tight areas
Pay & Schedule
- $21-$25/hour (based on experience)
- $3/hour shift premium and 40 extra hours of PTO for night shift!
