Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Perform various warehouse duties including, but not limited to:
- Pulling of product per customer requirements
- Preparing pulled product for shipment to the customer
- Processing inbound shipments for appropriate storage
- Cycle counting and/or physical inventory
- Use of various types of equipment in the performing of these tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Variety of types of fork lifts, including those that go up to 50ft off the ground
- Automated storage and retrieval systems
- Automated warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Variety of computer-based programs (Bill of Ladings, small package manifest, PC type applications, mainframe type applications)
- Record necessary data on appropriate paperwork and/or in computer based program(s)
- Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures
- Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner observing all safety requirements
- Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to operate various types of fork lifts
- Ability to use measuring devices; tape measurer
- Read and interpret written (English) instructions
- Computer experience a plus
Requirements
- Work 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday (daily and weekend overtime may be scheduled as necessary and could be on a voluntary or mandatory basis, based on business needs)
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds, occasional lifting up to 150 pounds with another employee
- Frequent standing, walking, using hands to handle product, pulling or pushing product/equipment, reaching with hands and arms, bending, twisting, sitting and stooping
- Occasional climbing (stairs and/or ladders)
- Frequent talking or hearing
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent exposure to heat, cold, humidity and dust
- Frequent working on or around moving equipment
- Frequent working with deadlines under pressure and occasionally working alone

Closing Statement
