Warehouse Material Handler (1291)

About the role

In this role, you will receive materials, pull orders for walk-in customers, operate forklifts, and load products onto delivery trucks. Responsibilities may also include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites, including unloading and staging product at jobsites as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse
• Respond to calls from the sales floor in a timely and professional manner
• Complete pick ticket orders
• Unload and receive all OTR deliveries
• Pull and stage orders for each company delivery truck
• Perform rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis
• Provide excellent customer service
• Double check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly
• Treat all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
• Perform all duties safely

Requirements

• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently
• Building material experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and team player
