The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory control, employee safety, workforce development, and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory movements, product availability, and stockout risks.
- Ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures and operational standards.
- Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities.
- Partner with procurement and operations teams to maintain inventory availability and service levels.
- Lead all warehouse safety initiatives and promote a culture of employee safety.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and food safety requirements.
- Conduct safety meetings, audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
- Investigate safety incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Supervise and develop warehouse leads and order builders across multiple shifts.
- Coach, mentor, and train employees on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and performance expectations.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development plans.
- Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and cycle count programs.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory trends and implement process improvements to reduce stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Manage labor planning and staffing requirements to meet operational demands.
- Support scheduling for day and night shift operations.
- Provide leadership coverage as needed, including occasional Sunday operations.

Pay
Canteen Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 / year, plus a yearly bonus opportunity.
