Pay

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $87,200.00 – $145,300.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 15% based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program, which are subject to change.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Outbound (picking and packing) operations team in a high-volume, order fulfillment, multi-shift distribution center
  • Provide indirect leadership to a large non-exempt team (up to 100 employees) and direct leadership to up to 4 salaried supervisors
  • Manage operations to ensure accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and optimization of resources and processes to meet customer delivery timelines and cost efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, identify process improvements, and promote employee programs to create an engaged and empowered workforce
  • Use production, safety, quality, cycle time, financial, and other data to analyze performance, identify process variations, and communicate issues to leadership
  • Support Distribution Center-wide projects, ensuring all deliverables (e.g., action items, process improvements) are completed by commitment dates
  • Foster positive employee relationships by developing engagement and recognition programs, ensuring fair treatment, and providing necessary tools for job performance
  • Commit to employee feedback and development processes for salaried supervisors, including interviewing, training, assigning work, supporting development goals, providing feedback, completing performance evaluations, and handling recognition or disciplinary actions
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using LEAN, DMAIC, Six Sigma tools, and implement solutions to enhance operational excellence
  • Emphasize training and implement audit systems to eliminate process variation or discrepancies, ensuring compliance with Company policies and governmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT, EPA)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible management experience in a high-volume, multi-shift operation with large employee populations
