About the role

The Warehouse Manager is a key member of the leadership team for a new 300,000 sq foot facility that opened in the Spring of 2025. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the warehouse / shipping department with departmental oversight for administration, shipping, receiving, employee scheduling, sanitation, quality, safety, and environmental activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of the shipping department in an organized, safe and sanitary work environment that is in compliance with the Company’s policies, OSHA and regulatory requirements.
  • Covers the load out schedule with in-house distribution and outside contractors to ensure the timely and accurate load out and receiving of all products.
  • Is responsible for expense management and control, including cooler dump, labor and overhead costs utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure (MOS).
  • Maintains and codes inventory of all products in coolers, on a daily basis, to ensure proper rotation and traceability of all items.
  • Ensures all transactions are recorded timely and accurately, to reflect a correct inventory position at any time.
  • Monitors and strives to achieve the successful attainment of the Sales to Service Metrics targeted.
  • Contains and/or reduces cost and drives productivity within the department.
  • Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.
  • Actively supports internal and external audits.
  • Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, training, organizing, integrating, and delegating.
  • Provides employee leadership directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of manager-level experience in a Distribution Center, Warehouse or Supply Chain workplace capacity.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices primarily from the food or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to successfully lead others through change.
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize and pay attention to the details.
  • A team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Adept at selecting, coaching, developing, engaging, and retaining a team of employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, computer-based applications and have WMS systems experience.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Up to 10% travel, ground and/or air transportation required.

Qualifications

Pay

Salary range: $90,000 - $108,000, plus a 15% bonus. Salary offers may be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.

Schedule

Position requires up to 10% travel, ground and/or air transportation.
