Warehouse Manager
What is my day-to-day like?
In this role, you will lead all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your day will focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control. The typical day-to-day of this position will include, but is not limited to:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance
- Maintain KPIs such as productivity, on-time shipments, and inventory accuracy
- Ensure all shipments are picked, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time
- Manage inventory through ERP/WMS systems, maintaining accuracy above 99.9%
- Possess cross-functional collaboration with transportation, production, and corporate logistics teams
- Lead safety efforts—conduct training, enforce compliance, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse
- Oversee dock activity, trailer scheduling, and intercompany shuttle operations
- Manage material handling equipment, including maintenance and cost control
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Support audits (BRC, quality, sanitation) and ensure audit readiness at all times

Schedule
This role primarily supports a manufacturing operation, so your schedule will align with business and production needs.
- A full-time, on-site leadership role based in Fort Wayne
- A schedule that generally follows day shift hours, but requires flexibility
- Regular presence on the warehouse floor to support operations and team leadership
- Occasional extended hours, early mornings, or evenings as needed to meet production demands or resolve operational issues
- Availability to support business needs during peak periods, audits, or critical shipments
