About the role
The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of inventory and products throughout the airport operation. This position is responsible for planning and executing inventory management, purchasing, ordering, and product logistics across our restaurants and retail markets. By leading warehouse and logistics teams, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and driving operational efficiencies, the Warehouse Manager directly supports product quality, cost control, and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage all daily and weekly inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels for restaurants and markets.
- Review consumption reports and collaborate with the General Manager of Inventory to align purchasing decisions with sales trends and forecasted demand.
- Ensure required daily market production is completed by Back of House teams and accurately documented.
- Implement and oversee inventory rotation processes to maintain product quality and minimize waste.
- Ensure expired products are removed and returned to the appropriate warehouse for proper waste tracking and reporting.
- Lead Warehouse and Porter teams to ensure orders are accurately picked, delivered on time, and transferred correctly between locations.
- Oversee product receiving and delivery activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards for time, temperature, sanitation, and food safety.
- Analyze inventory data and operational metrics to reduce waste, optimize inventory levels, and improve cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Partner with Front of House and Back of House leaders to ensure smooth product flow and support operational excellence.
Qualifications/Criteria
- Degree in hospitality or culinary field is preferred
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of management experience in restaurants or retail – preferably overseeing multi-unit concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work varied hours/days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather conditions
