Warehouse Manager
About the role
This position oversees storeroom operations, including ordering, receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials. It supports daily branch operations and adheres to corporate goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Support day-to-day operations according to branch and corporate missions and cultures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Able to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Basic math and reasoning skills.
- Certification of power-truck equipment.
- Operate inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.
Qualifications
- Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods.
- May require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
