About the role
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehousing activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to SLAs while arranging shipping requirements according to company policies and vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong customer relationships to achieve high levels of service/satisfaction.
- Design and map each customer’s operation to meet customer requirements and Aramex standards.
- Attend customer meetings as required and set SLAs for all new customers.
- Analyze customer requests impacting both cost and operational workflow and report any information affecting company image or functioning.
- Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct annual reviews for direct reports.
- Train warehouse staff on customized logistics procedures and requirements for new customers.
- Aid and train personnel in using warehouse systems, DQMS, and processing work orders.
- Ensure optimal warehouse performance and manage the warehouse team at all levels.
- Maintain warehouse performance standards and directly be responsible for meeting customers' Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Analyze dashboards to forecast trends and continuously review operations for opportunities of improvement.
- Optimize workflow processes to minimize unnecessary costs and assist the Supply Chain Manager and team in projects costing and resource planning.
- Take necessary measures to reduce costs without compromising quality and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder with preference for Supply Chain/Logistics postgraduate studies.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
