Warehouse Manager 3rd Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to maximize productivity, improve efficiency and accuracy and reduce cost.
• Manage and lead a team of 50+ associates and supervisors across an assigned production shift to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Partner with Transportation Manager to ensure the highest level of efficiency within the overall operation.
• Ensure trucks are unloaded/loaded properly on an accurate and timely basis by overseeing workload scheduling and delivery of product in the warehouse.
• May operate powered material handling equipment in some locations.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and coordinate with inventory and procurement team around low stock items, seasonal swings, product returns, and customer promotions.
• Enforce workplace safety standards and procedures to create a safe working environment including reinforcement of safety programs, safety meetings, and workers’ compensation discussions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to meet customer requirements and resolve any issues.
• Ensure customers are notified of stock shortages by providing information to Customer Service Representatives, Warehouse Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager regarding shortages, available substitutes, and recording all information.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years warehouse experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team of 50+ associates.
