Warehouse Maintenance

Department Goals, Strategies, and Procedures

Fulfills all departmental procedures and company policies.

Establishes personal goals to improve both individual and departmental performance.

Contributes to the execution of company goals which, when achieved, support fulfillment of the company vision.

Maintenance & Service

• Ensures printing machinery and other industrial equipment operate at optimal efficiency.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens for irregularities to identify causes of malfunction.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Servicess equipment and other items as assigned.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural components in machinery.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Maintains an ongoing list of miscellaneous maintenance tasks that need to be completed.
• Sets up and operates equipment and tools to manufacture and repair parts.
• Uses and reads voltmeters, computers, and tape measures.

Quality Control

• Activates devices to test their performance.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Examines parts for imperfections in form or texture.
• Checks and rechecks completed work before returning machinery to service.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments as needed.

Safety

• Ensures all areas of the plant meet OSHA standards.
• Knows and follows all safety procedures.
• Reports work-related injuries to the supervisor.

• Education And/or Experience: High school education preferred, plus 5 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

$27.00-29.00 per hour
