Warehouse - Maintenance

About the Role

Maintain and repair large and small industrial equipment while adhering to all safety rules and procedures. This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment on site.

All team members are required to participate in environmental, safety, and health program activities, including wearing required personal protective equipment, participating in safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance (60%)
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on a daily, bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual basis or per the preventive maintenance program.
  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns.
  • Responsible for lockout tagout (LOTO) process and procedures.
  • Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, rigging, and other equipment as needed.
  • Install additional equipment or move existing equipment with necessary support hookups.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in developing maintenance plans.
• Facilities and Grounds (10%)
  • Monitor and maintain facility grounds, including grass trimming, weed removal, trash pick-up, and parking lot upkeep.
  • Paint and power wash as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, safety striping, and signage.
  • Maintain company facilities, including offices, to meet federal and local regulatory standards.
• Safety (15%)
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and local safety regulations.
  • Fix potential safety hazards.
  • Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
  • Utilize applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) in the performance of duties.
  • Report or correct equipment malfunctions, unsafe equipment, material revisions, and product deviations immediately.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or warehouse maintenance.
• Other Requirements: Familiarity with mechanical systems, electrical repair, and basic groundskeeping equipment; strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
