As a Warehouse Lumper, you’ll play a key role in off-loading inbound freight, securely placing product on pallets with accuracy, and ensuring smooth operations through top-of-the-line technology and safety measures. Responsibilities

  • Read breakdown sheet.
  • Unload product from trailer.
  • Sort and place correct quantities of product onto pallet, down or up-stacking following product placement directions.
  • Stack product to ensure it is not damaged in any way.
  • Move product to designated dock area using power equipment.
  • Use slip-sheet, clamp device, or forklift where necessary.
  • Shrink wrap and/or tape product to prepare it for warehouse racking location.
  • Change battery in power equipment using required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform pre- and post-shift checks on equipment and report needed repairs to supervisor/maintenance personnel.
  • Identify damaged product and notify appropriate personnel to prevent it from entering the warehouse.
  • Perform daily sanitation tasks including sorting pallets, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach above the head continuously for periods of up to 3 hours or more.
  • Lift up to 65 pounds with frequency.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing operational needs, including early, late, or weekend shifts.
  • Comply with company work and safety rules.
  • Work at a pace that ensures smooth product flow into the receiving process.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively, including work instructions, safety protocols, and communications.

Full-time, 3rd shift (overnight).
