About the Role

The Warehouse & Logistics Associate supports industrial installation and relocation operations by managing materials, equipment, and inventory, as well as transporting machinery, tools, and project materials to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of equipment, parts, and materials.
  • Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining organization and safety standards.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for shipment to job sites and project teams.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a CDL Class A license to transport equipment, materials, and machinery between warehouses, vendors, and project sites with manual endorsement.
  • Secure loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
  • Assist with moving, delivering, and retrieving equipment needed for active and upcoming installation and relocation projects.
  • Coordinate transportation schedules with project managers, site supervisors, and logistics personnel to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with routine inventory counts.
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of all equipment and materials.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, yard areas, and company vehicles.
  • Follow company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and DOT regulations when handling materials, equipment, and commercial vehicles.
  • Assist with staging equipment and materials for upcoming installation and relocation projects.
  • Support field operations as needed by assisting crews with loading, unloading, and organizing project materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid CDL Class A license with manual endorsement, and a clean driving record required.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, transportation, or industrial environment experience preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles and trailers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safe cargo securement practices preferred.

Travel

Up to 75% travel required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, with regular travel to local and regional project sites. The employee will work in both hot and cold conditions and may be exposed to varying weather conditions while loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
